The Kansas State Department of Wildlife and Parks oversees boating, fishing, and state parks.  Over 100,000 boats are registered in Kansas.  There are twenty-four state parks that over seven million people visit each year.  And fishing in Kansas has produced some impressive record fish (click below).

Bigger Kansas water includes Tuttle Creek Reservoir, Cheney Reservoir, and Waconda Lake.  Key rivers are the Kansas River, Republican River, Arkansas River, Missouri River, and the Smokey Hill River.
